![]() ![]() And again the films just have some of the most beautiful cinematography ever, there are so many shows that you want to frame and hang on the wall, the deep contrast, the real locations and real people, it's astounding. She has an amazing story arc that last something like 15 minutes, and it works, it doesn't feel sudden. The acting is great, the characterization is great, you go from finding his wife slightly annoying, to endearing to loving her as Apu does, so you can grieve with him when she goes. It's another beautiful film in what is a perfect trilogy, Ray makes you care deeply about the characters, even if Apu is played by some 4 actors throughout the three films, he is still relatable and recognizable as the same character. However, in despair, he abandons the city, goes to the forest, gets a job as a miner, and attempts to find himself, before he can again connect to something he loves. ![]() ![]() Now, Apu is an absolute curse, everyone he loves dies, so you can imagine what happens. ![]() He is now alone, as all of his family has died in previous films, but he eventually gets married.
